UPDATED: Scheduled events for the March on DC Event 9/11 & 9/12

Saturday 9/11 – 9am Oath Keepers will be at: Washington Monument Stage at 15th & Constitution at 8:30 to 10:30 with a rally to follow.

Sunday 9/12 – 10am Oath Keepers will be staging at: Farragut Square at 17th & K Street to participate in the “Freedom Works” Taxpayers March. Which begins at 12noon. We will go in formation to the Freedom Plaza and march to the Capitol.

Thanks for organizing the group for the marches in Washington, DC next weekend.
I will be there as a member of the Northern New York Oathkeepers. I hope there will be others from our area willing to make the journey.

Well, I showed up, but sure as hell nobody else did.
There weren’t even enough ok’ers to carry all the signs, so me and a couple of buddies helped.

Could it be that members feel that marches on Washington is a waste of time? Washington totally ignores or makes fun of Tea Parties and Glen Beck who bring tens of thousands to their rallies. Do you think they are going to pay any attention to a few, at best few thousand OKs?

America is being killed by thousands of little cuts and we sit by doing nothing talking about how patriotic we all are. I pray that this November our votes will be the revolution that will stop obama then we can put our old uniforms back in mothballs. If it does not . . . then welcome comrade to the new order.

I’m in Australia, I see a couple belonging to your organization have had their baby snatched evidently because Oath Keepers are perceived as a ‘Militia’.

From where I sit, I see America today as almost exactly in the situation of Germany in the 1920’s to the early 30’s, until uncle Adolf came along and flushed Germany’s sewers.

Have no doubt the inner party shysters who have taken hold of America are well aware that the aforementioned uncle was assisted in his rise by a
group called the ‘Sturmabteilung’ or simply, the SA. These were mainly former German Soldiers and they eventually numbered way over a million men.

All armed and so dangerous that eventually the Nazis terminated the SA’s leadership by Pistol in the ‘Night of the Long knives’.

The gangsters who have run America for a very long time, know exactly how essential the SA was to the rise of uncle A. I suspect your elevation to Militia status suggests they quiver in their boots at the thought of countless hundreds of thousands of Patriotic and ARMED men and women, determined to defend the constitution, all in the same tent.

They have snatched that Baby to deter others,this won’t be their last move, they are extremely dangerous and cunning, but don’t let them fool you.

Site Dedication

This site is dedicated to the memory of John William Adams (1925-2006), Marine and Oath Keeper extraordinaire.

John Adams, at the age of 16, lied about his age to join the Marines so he could fight against Imperial Japan in the Pacific. His enlistment date was December 10, 1941, just three days after the attack on Pearl Harbor (see below). As a Marine rifleman, he fought the Japanese from island to island, across the pacific, including at Iwo Jima. We may have good men, but we never had better.

Until his death in 2006, he was a dedicated patriot who still took his oath to defend the Republic deadly serious. May God grant you the courage to do likewise.

Founder Stewart Rhodes

He is a former firearms instructor and former member of Rep. Ron Paul’s DC staff.

Stewart previously wrote the monthly Enemy at the Gates column for S.W.A.T. Magazine

Stewart graduated from Yale Law School in 2004, where his paper “Solving the Puzzle of Enemy Combatant Status” won Yale’s Miller prize for best paper on the Bill of Rights. He assisted teaching U.S. military history at Yale, was a Yale Research Scholar, and is writing a book on the dangers of applying the laws of war to the American people.
