He taught me about the flag and what it stood for
I was raised in my early childhood by my grandparents. My Grandfather was a WWII Pearl Harbor Survivor, a Warrant Officer in the Navy. He told me many things that didn’t make a whole lot of sense to me then, but now it become clear. He warned me that forces from within this government would take it over and enslave the people of this country if we were not vigilant.
He raised the American Flag on his property every morning, and he would let me help. He taught me about the flag and what it stood for, I learned what being an American was about.
I joined the National Guard right out of high school. I enjoyed it but wanted more. I joined the U.S.Navy. I served in Persian Gulf war. I haven’t found any reason to stop honoring the Oath(s) I took to safeguard my country and our Constitution.
I will continue to honor that Oath and Surrender will never be an option, I am an American, and I am an Oath Keeper.

Mr. John Shelton,
Thanks for joining OK.
“DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION.”
— the “entire” Constitution
Defend the borders: Bring the troops home “now” and put them on “our” borders. I for one don’t know what we doing in the Middle East and Central Asia, while our southern borders are being overrun, invaded. “Defend Arizona.”
Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution:
“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion;…”
To the Republic! (Not the “democracy”)
Best regards to you.

P.S. to post no. 2:
“He warned me that forces from within this government would take it over and enslave the people of this country if we were not vigilant.”
I am sure that our founding fathers would agree with
your grandfather.
