I stand in defense of the Constitution, the Republic and of my fellow citizens

armys2I am a 20 year full-time Peace Officer, currently ranked as a Captain. I am also a 13 year veteran of the US Army, USAR and ARNG.

Adherence to the US Constitution while in service to the nation, my state and to my community has been a sacred trust. The measure of a man’s integrity, honor and strength of commitment is his adherence to the intent of that Oath and to the founding principles of the Republic.

I hold my Oath to the Constitution to be above any allegiance to any government entity.

I took the Oath for the first time when I enlisted in the US Army in the early 1980’s. I took it again in 1990 as a Peace Officer. The Oath has not changed, nor has my commitment to uphold it changed. Not…One…Bit.

I stand in defense of the Constitution, the Republic and of my fellow citizens.

How do Oath Keepers feel about the legislation the Democratzi’s are working on that would allow the big unions to control Police, Firefighters and EMS workers?????? This would make it mandatory that the above would have to join a union.

    Susan,

Does the legislation change their Oath to the Constitution? Each individual is responsible for their own actions, regardless of an organization’s structural changes.

The Democrats are in power right now, but don’t expect Republicans to save us. They are all politicians, caring only for their own power. Each administration builds on the previous administration’s usurpations and crimes. The Patriot Act, Campaign Finance Reform, refusal to enforce border security(Article IV, Section 4.), and the first TARP bailout occurred under the previous Republican administration. I don’t look for things to get better when the next power exchange takes place. The thing people fail to realize is that the Oath Keeper concept was born out of concern for the unconstitutional acts of the Bush administration. We aren’t anti-Democrat, we are non-partisan.
