To “defend and protect” didn’t end when I ETS for the last time

Army1ArmyI joined the Army, when I raised my right hand to take the OATH I was repeating the exact same words that other great hero’s of this land had before me. It was the proudest day of my life. To “defend and protect” didn’t end when I ETS for the last time.

During this tragic hour my country is calling me again, to serve her, to “defend and protect” her constitution. I put my life on the line then, and I’m willing to do it again Think about it, we all have. I took the oath once and I feel one oath is all it takes. You can Count on me. So help me God.

Attached is a picture of me taken at Fort Lewis, WA, the crest is from my old Air Defense Artillery Unit at Fort Carson, CO.

Just wanted to say hello, I served at Ft. Lewis Washington too. At the Operations Transfer Point, I don’t know if they call it that any more, but it was where we filled out the DD 214’s. All Day long we let people out of the Army, I got there and was part of the 9th Infantry Division, my First Sgt. didn’t like that much, so they had me moved to the USAG. Real FAST. I still recall my time in the 9th with fond memories. My C.O. sold me my first car, a VW beetle that he had bought for his daughter to learn to drive. I liked Ft. Lewis, even if it rained A LOT. IT reminded me of my Home State, Tennessee, sans the rain. Welcome, and Glad your Here!

Thank you I was asigned to 9th PSC from 1986-1989.
My unit handled all the 201 files for the Division side of the house. I was the NCOIC of FFlag Records, but also gave briefings for over 850 soldiers on how to fill out a 214. I have fond memories of Red Stone, Lewis, Bragg, and Rucker. After retiring we moved back home to Oregon. God speed to you and yours, God Bless America!

I thank all of you kind people whom I have met on the Oath keeper site. But let it be known that I have been banned from Oath keepers due to the fact I uncovered 1 Board of Director and 1 Moderator who are “Playing mind games with members and are on a Power Trip”…this was a blow to me and others who learned of this. My reward is being banned, I am proud of that because that means I did my job. No reliable organization or site such as this should allow this to occur!!!
