Teenage Cadet Promises to Keep his Oath
Sir I am Cadet Corporal Carroll acting 1ST Sergeant in the United States Army Cadet Corps.
In the past 16 years I have been alive I have seen more and more restrictions put on the American people by their own government.
I was scared to think that when I enlist I could be forced to serve a dictator and our constitution thrown aside. I am proud that a group like this was formed so that our troops know that they have a choice and to remind them of that oath.
I teach Army Cadets and though I may not be old enough to have a serious say in a lot of my surroundings but I can make people think. I will make sure that I will remind my cadets of the oath they will soon take and what that means, and also to those who have served and are serving. If I can be of any help please ask of it.
P.S. I have heard from an old colonel from 1st division that Army central command talks much about the oath and that the idea of constitution vs. president fills their voices and thoughts a great deal of the time.

Gents,
Was looking for a “sign in” tab on the main websight page. I’m new here and maybe I just can’t find it. Anyhow, glad to be associated with fellow patriots!

Jake – You are a fine example of who the Oath Keepers want to reach, teach, and inspire – current serving military – regardless of your age. Please encourage your troops to study our Consitution and Bill of Rights – and live up to their Oaths – for these very documents are the blood of our wonderful nation. God bless you and be safe out there.

Bravo, Cadet. If you are well versed in the Constitution and Founding documents, you will be able to withstand the hardships you are sure to face. A righteous, subject-matter-expert is hard to beat. Welcome to Oath Keepers.

It warmed my heart and gave me a little much needed strength today to read this. This isn’t a perfect country and most don’t feel it is but bless us all, we have every right and the foundation to make things better, and most importantly, stay free and stand tall. My family sends you our thoughts and prayers and wish you the best for a bright future. P.S. Keep the things you write because your children will be quite proud someday to see how you impacted this country in your youth.

Welcome aboard Cpl. Carroll. I can’t tell you how touching it is to see such a bright young man care so much. There are a million things you could be doing, as a 16 year old. So many other things that could be troubling you. The fact that you have put your Country so high on your priorities is just amazing. It is a blessing on one hand, and a sad reminder of how MY GENERATION has failed miserably. We should’ve seen this coming long ago, and “nipped it in the bud”. but because we chose to be selfish, and just live our lives with our heads in the sand, now you must step up and be a part of the solution. It is great to see you do that. But, as a 16 year old, you should be playing ball, chasing girls, and laying out of school, lol. This is what it has come to folks. MY GENERATION has failed. We MUST WAKE UP!!

Well said, young man!
I’m a junior in the active-duty Navy. Even the smallest person can have a huge impact. And I think the younger and the more junior you are, you have the ability to learn more (without being a slave to old ideas or fearing for a career).
Stand-up, speak-out.

Well said is right and you the young are the ones whom must wake up and see what is happening and to pass the word to vote and change things before we are at war.
They brain wash our children in schools every year we need the young like you to step and lead the way. I appreciate you and what your about to do. thank you Vietnam Vet.
we all need to stand up and speak out
