Combat Air Force Veteran, Vietnam

1158-55281158-552Oath Keepers,

Please count me in. I swore the oath to “support and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic” in 1967.

I served 2 tours in Southeast Asia and have a lot of friend’s names listed on the Vietnam Wall. I spent my entire career engaged in, or preparing for, the fight against foreign enemies. I am retired now, but my oath is still active and I am pleased to join your ranks and fight our domestic enemies.

Robert J. Clark, Lt Col, USAF (Ret)

    Welcome, Lt Col.

The only ‘fight’ Oath Keepers brings to our domestic enemies is our outreach with regard to the Constitutional Oath. Our mission focus is, necessarily, very non-confrontational, in order to remain a safe group for active duty military and police.

The domestic enemies of the Constitution would love nothing more than to get us proscribed by DoD. I suspect your experience as will be a valuable asset!

It’s all in your definition of fight. The DoD would interpret “Fight” as a physical or potentially harmful resistance to something.Here….the word “Fight” means to peacefully resist through the ballot box and through informing others.
