SPLC Publishes Patriot Hit List

splcIn a report on its web site dated April 2010, entitled “Meet The Patriots,” the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) profiled “36 individuals at the heart of the resurgent [patriot] movement.” (In reading the list, I counted only 35 “patriots” and 5 “enablers” for a total of 40. I’m not really sure how the SPLC came up with “36.” Perhaps their ability to count is commensurate with their ability to appreciate patriotism and liberty.) The SPLC (founded by Morris Dees) sees itself as America’s guardian against “right wing militias” and loves to label conservatives and libertarians that it doesn’t like as “extremists.” The SPLC is one of the most ultra-liberal organizations in the country and should be dismissed as a group of paranoid leftists, not worthy of thought or mention.

The sad truth is, however, our federal government has chosen to exalt the SPLC to the position of being its “go to” source for information regarding “potential domestic terrorists” and similar characterizations. As a result, the information and reports disseminated by SPLC wind up in police reports and bulletins all over the United States. As an example, the SPLC had its fingerprints all over the infamous MIAC report. One could even question whether the SPLC is merely a front organization for Big Brother.

Therefore, it is highly likely that the report negatively profiling 40 American patriots will find its way into Department of Homeland Security (DHS) fusion centers and be distributed to police agencies all across the country. So, should the 40 people who find themselves targeted by SPLC expect some kind of government/police attention? Are we really that close to Nazi-style persecution in America? If the SPLC has its way, the answer seems to be a definite yes.

I remind readers that in the book, Nazi Justiz: Law of the Holocaust (page 3), there were five steps to Hitler’s plans for the destruction of European Jews. Step 1: Identification/registration of the targeted group as a public menace. Step 2: Ostracism of the targeted persons. Step 3: property confiscation. Step 4: Concentration of members into geographical locations. Step 5: Annihilation. In this latest report, SPLC seems quite willing to accomplish steps 1 and 2.

Here are the 40 names that are targeted in the SPLC report (and guess who is listed at the very top? Yours truly):

1. Chuck Baldwin, Pastor, Radio Broadcaster, Syndicated Columnist, 2008 Constitution Party Presidential nominee.
2. Joe Banister, former IRS special agent, tax protester.
3. Martin “Red” Beckman, tax protester
4. Catherine Bleish, head of the Liberty Restoration Project.

11. Ted Gunderson, retired FBI agent.
12. John Hassey, “The public face of Alabama’s militia movement in the late 1990s,” says SPLC.
13. Alex Jones, Radio Talk Show host.
14. Devvy Kidd, “prolific columnist, blogger, and public speaker.”
15. Larry Kilgore, telecommunications consultant, former US Senate candidate from Texas, pro-secession advocate.

27. Robert “Bob” Schultz, founder of We The People.
28. Joel Skousen, editor, World Affairs Brief.
29. Jim Stachowiak, Radio Talk Show host, “Longtime militia organizer,” claims SPLC.
30. John Stadtmiller, founder, Republic Broadcasting Network.
31. Orly Taitz, California attorney, a leader in the push to make President Obama disclose his US birth certificate.
32. Amanda Teegarden, executive director of Oklahomans for Sovereignty and Free Enterprise.
33. Mike Vanderboegh, anti-Obama health care activist.
34. Paul Venable, former candidate for the Idaho House of Representatives.
35. Edwin Vieira, Jr., attorney, author, proponent of constitutional State militias, lecturer.
36. Michele Bachmann, US Representative from Minnesota.
37. Glenn Beck, Fox News Channel TV host.
38. Paul Broun, medical doctor, US Representative from Georgia.
39. Andrew Napolitano, attorney, former State judge in New Jersey, Fox News Channel legal analyist, lecturer.
40. Ron Paul, former member of the US Air Force, medical doctor, US Representative from Texas, 2008 Republican candidate for President.

See the SPLC report here.

The SPLC, no doubt, sees each person on the above list as being a leader of the “radical right,” a “conspiracist,” and “antigovernment.” But understand, the SPLC makes its living off of big-government, leftist ideology. To say it is a shill for Big Government Liberalism is an understatement. The SPLC is so radical it makes the ACLU look conservative!

Again, this SPLC report would not even merit a mention (much less an entire column) except for the fact that the SPLC has become a source of information fueling anti-freedom hysteria for countless bureaucrats at the DHS. Add this to the previously exposed MIAC and DHS reports, and the Army major’s report blaming “millennialist” Christians for much of the ills of the world, and a disturbing trend is quickly developing: so-called right-wing ANYTHING is being targeted and demonized as a “public menace.”

I think maybe what OathKeepers should do is come up with a list of our own with 40 names.

Perhaps putting Mark Potok as number 24 on the list of those we have identified as the greatest threat to our Constitutional Republic. We should then officially have Stewart deliver it into the hands of “THE FAMILY” and ask that they consider a request from OathKeepers for Dispensational Prayer to protect our patriots and our country from these misguided souls who insist upon spreading fear mongering hatred towards those who wish to heal the Nation.

In case your wondering who “The Family” is they are in fact THE most powerful political Christian force in the United States. Not a group to be trifled with to say the least.

The Fellowship, also known as the Family,[1][2][3] is a U.S.-based religious and political organization founded in April, 1935. The stated purpose of the Fellowship is to provide a fellowship forum for decision makers to share in Bible Studies, prayer meetings, worship experiences and to experience spiritual affirmation and support.[4][5]

    Top Secret

Silent Weapons for a Quiet War

This document is the doctrine adopted by the Policy Committee of the Bilderburg Group during its first known meeting in 1954. A copy found in 1969 was in the possession of Navel Intelligence.

The following document, dated May 1979, was found on July 7, 1986, in an IBM copier that had been purchased at a surplus sale.

    An Introduction Programming Manual
    Operations Research Technical Manual
    TW-SW7905.1

The computer models and feedback gathering systems engineered starting in the 1960s and 1970s were designed to measure the effects of different economic/governmental-control type actions. (halfway down that orientation manual describes these kinds of ‘economic shock testing’ and the ‘feedback mechanisms’ [spending/voting habits] that result). These systems allowed those doing the controlling to quantify reaction; the danger always being that some step may be perceived by the masses to be ‘too aggressive’ and suddenly people see through the illusion and it’s game over for a few years.

Basically, ‘the good guys’ (ie, ‘the trouble makers’ from the perspective of ‘the engineers’), are in a kind of friendly competition to see who can create the most effective vehicle of bringing individuals to a level of “SELF-LEADERSHIP”, totally independent thought, Intellectual FREEDOM, so that we have more team-mates to help with the REAL games, where the REAL FUN is at. But that can only happen when they are really ready to be done with the game they are stuck in… like a child playing video games before the family leaves for the amusement park… Dad is waiting at the door saying, “COME ON!” and the kid is saying, “Yeah, yeah, I’ve just got to finish this…”…

How big is that amusement park? How big is/are the games that you could be playing?

The engineers look at the human population as a bacterium. Trouble makers are in the business of developing a virus to spread throughout the bacterium.

Consider what would happen if we could just get the engineers to back off and let us have the lab to ourselves for a little while. It seems that many people in the Ron Paul, Alex Jones, David Icke – conspiracy theory circles are all working on this goal. (It’s interesting to me that we see no problems flushing bacteria colonies, but somehow we take offense when it’s us that is getting flushed, and more interesting that this connection simply doesn’t compute for most people. How could a bacterium understand that in the eyes of the scientist it is just a bacterium. Well, that goal of getting the engineers to get out of the lab… it would take some pretty dangerous bacteria for the engineers to back off and say, ‘that lab is just too dangerous to operate in’ – my guess is they would destroy the whole lab or install a very tight lock down rather than let the experiment spread too far.

The question you are likely asking is, “What can be done about it?” and “How might things play out?”

We need a whole new series of ‘formats’ developed to make the ‘bacteria’ even less controllable…. intellectual enzymes that will catalyze the emergence of wide-spread of SELF-LEADING.

It doesn’t matter “how many tries it takes”… all that is required is the development of a single ‘enzyme’ that catalyzes… a SELF-LEADER awakening communication that ‘goes viral’.

What are the take away points?

    1) Honesty is a continuous open-ended process – it is the key to individual freedom, and freedom for a group of individuals – always strive to take another step outside of whatever boxes you are in – never become complacent with how ‘outside of the box’ you have become.

    2) There is no need for conflicts (you can have them if you choose them in the spirit of play) – but you can always communicate & find a new game where your enemies would be your allies.

    3) There is a friendly competition going on that will shortly be bringing the concept of SELF-LEADING to the world on a much larger scale than ever before. Whoever finds the format that does this is going to both profit & deliver the ultimate victory to the ‘good guys’ within the game ‘humans’ vs ‘controllers’.

    4) By understanding the games that are currently going on, you may: profit by close observation & meeting the needs of either side; pick a side, get involved, and enjoy it in the spirit of play; or get into communication with either side and evolve a new game where the conflict need not exist and communicate this to the other side.

    Ron Jones Says:

“…should be dismissed as a group of paranoid leftists, not worthy of thought or mention.”

I must, respectfully, disagree…most vehemently. Do not dismiss these apologists for tyranny!

The SPLC is a vile, insidious hate group that encourages terrorism against conservatives. One might even be excused for interpreting their actions as laying the ground work for a repression of dissent.

Their biggest spokesman of late, Heidi Beirich, is the Leni Riefenstahl of the SPLC (without the talent, the charm, or the stunning good looks).

The time for Marquess of Queensbury rules, respectful, high-toned debate, and “compromise” is long past (if it ever existed at all). Nothing less than our children’s future is at stake. Liberty activists, conservatives, oath keepers, and all Americans who favor limited government would be wise to fight fire with fire.

We must…MUST become adept at the use of propaganda for our own ends if we are to survive without conflict. This is not hyperbole, this is simple truth. Learn to use the very tactics that our enemies are using (See: Charles Bernays, and Saul Alinsky).

We are on the precipice of disaster, and whether we slide into single-state tyranny, or disparate, relatively homogeneous regions (peaceful or balkanized)…is still to be determined.

Once upon a time, Jefferson Davis (an actual patriot), was convinced that the truth of our struggle for political self-determination would break through the lies and distortions of the statists. “Truth crushed to the earth is truth still and like a seed will rise again.” He misjudged history.

People ARE slowly beginning to realize that a direct line can be drawn from the steps of Appomattox Courthouse….to the big, centralized, nightmare of a national(ist) government we have today. However, the centralizers did their job well, and it took too long for the truth to redeem the sacrifices of our ancestors.

Instead, the prediction of General Patrick Cleburne came true: “Surrender means that the history of this heroic struggle will be written by the enemy; that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers; will learn from Northern school books their version of the War; will be impressed by all the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors, and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.”

Wow What a great list! Did we commission the SPLC to make that hit list for us? I love how they put Ron Paul at the bottom. My question is, when we are done using the SPLC, will we finally be able to bring terrorism charges against them?

    Jose L. Benavides Says:

Gentlemen, I was born in Cuba and arrived in the USA on July 1960 with my green card. In 1965 I swore allegiance to my new adopted country, the USA, and became a citizen. Two years later I was taking the same oath again when I accepted a commission as a 2nd LT in the US Army. And off I went to war for my new country. I signed on the dotted line to defend and protect my constitution against all enemies foreign and/or domestic. And you know what, my signature is still there, it has not been erased. It will be erased the day the Good Lord calls me. And I will be buried with my “Old Glory” covering my casket. See, when I first signed on the dotted line I thought then as I still think that the USA is a country worth dying for. I am a veteran of War, a member for life of the VFW, a member of the NRA. I own guns, and I am a Republican. I believe in immigrants only if they are legal. I guess that all these reasons make me a suspicious character to the SPLC. I thought that one of the principal rights of jurisprudence is that you are innocent until proven guilty. I am a senior citizen with diabetes. My left eye is now blind. I can not walk more than 50 ft. and I need a cane to walk. But believe me, since my signature is still on the dotted line, I still believe that the USA is a country worth dying for. If my country needs me again, I will crawl, I will wheel me,I will do whatever it takes to respond the call of my country again!!!
Now if all of the above makes me an enemy of the present government, so be it . . . . . .
