I remember the oath I took to defend the Constitution

Navy12I am a veteran of the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War and I remember the oath I took to defend the Constitution.
The Oath Keepers’ list of orders that we should not obey is important.  Here is an example of how this can work:

In Russia, 1991, there was a coup by hard line communists to restore the Soviet Union.  They imprisoned Gorbachev and threatened to storm the Duma and capture Boris Yeltsin.  The people of Moscow took to the streets in protest.  The leaders of the coup ordered the KGB and the Red Army to open fire on the people.  They refused.  The army joined the people.  Yeltsin stood atop a BTR and proclaimed the end of Communist rule in Russia.

So should American soldiers and law enforcement officers behave when given illegal, immoral and unconstitutional orders.  If the Red Army can do it, so should we.
