I took the Oath, I have yet to renounce it
I took the Oath to protect and defend Our Constitution in March of 1978 when I joined the US Army Military Police Corps. I served with pride for three years. I also was fortunate enough to meet my husband, a career NCO with the US Army Military Police Corps while we were both stationed at Ft McPherson, GA. In his 20 years of service, he did a tour in Nam, escorting convoys between Plieku and An Khe, followed by 2 1/2 years as a Drill Sergeant at Ft Leonardwood.
We were both very proud of our service and truly loved this great nation. I still am and still do. My husband past a few years ago, in preparing for his death, we chose a double urn that carries the emblem of the US Army.
I took the Oath, I have yet to renounce it, and I have no plans to do so. Although we have made mistakes and our government may not have always made us proud, this still is and has always been a great nation of great exceptional-ism. God Bless the USA and all who stand to protect and defend its Constitution and values.

I, too, swore a blood oath to protect and defend The Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I, too, intend that oath to remain in full effect until I take my last dying breath. I believe that all Amendments to the Constitution deserve equal protection; the 2nd Amendment is every bit as deserving of protection as the 1st, 4th, or 14th, and vice-versa. While I think some government officials, both elected and appointed, are falling unacceptably short of their obligations and should have their terms promptly ended, I affirm that such removals should only occur in an orderly fashion under the Rule of Law and Constitutional processes. I would never support, through action or inaction, any change to government through non-Constitutional or extra-judicial means, and oppose anyone who would. To the extent these statements find like-minded citizens on this website, I am your brother.
