Active Duty Military Police Officer and Constitutionalist

navy

navy military policeI am a Law abiding citizen, I am a husband, I am a brother, I am a son, I am a Patriot, I am an Active Duty Military Police Officer, I am a Constitutionalist and by the hand of my God whoever he shall be I will defend my Sovereignty and Liberty by the means that the Constitution Grants me, whether it be with civility or force. “We will say to the Powers that be, Be it with your blood or ours we have come to water the tree of liberty”

And what country can preserve its liberties, if it’s rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.

The time is now I am with you.

Thank you, for your commitment to our liberty!

Think about this though- if the Constitution were amended to say that the 1st Amendment is repealed, does that mean you no longer have the Right to free speech, freedom of religion and the Right to assemble?

Our Founders held that our Rights are endowed by our Creator. The Constitution protects our Natural Rights from being infringed upon by the new government they had created. Therefore, the Constitution does not “grant” Rights. If it did, then it could be used to take them away, too.

Rights exist prior to, and regardless of, governments and the whims of man. Governments are instituted among men to secure those pre-existing Rights.

If I have misread your statement, I apologize. The mistaken idea that the Constitution “grants” Rights is one of the big reasons our liberty has degraded to its current state. I try to address that notion, whenever I come across it.
