Once a Marine, always a Marine and I still hold to the oath I took long ago!

2nd_Marine_DivisionI took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States twice. Once in 1961 when I joined the Marine Corps Reserves and again in 1962 when I reenlisted in the regular US Marine Corps.

At 18 I understood what that oath meant!

Once a Marine, always a Marine and I still hold to the oath I took long ago!

Welcome aboard my friend. We must be about the same age as I took my Oath in 1960. Thank you for your service and God Bless You, and God Bless America! Proud Navy Vet!

Welcome, friend. I also took the Oath in 1961, when I joined the U.S. Navy (Hospital Corpsman) in Oklahoma City, OK. We are lucky to have survived and are obligated to pass the torch.
