honor to know a patriot of like mind. I have had
some problems with my blog I put something on and
it must shake someone who has knowledge computers
superior to my own.I am trying to work through
the problems. They change things that I have
placed there. Please pray that God would be

While I do feel that there must be a higher conscience to answer to than doing what one’s government (state or national) tells one to do…. and I am NOT necessarily talking so-called ‘Christian’ ideals necessarily, I am not clear on how one decides who ‘domestic enemies’ are… or even international ones, for that matter.

I personally was against the Viet Nam war for all sorts of reasons, and I think that history has proven this was the correct moral and even patriotic stance to take. But in relation to your statement, is it just the ones with guns who get to decide what is a ‘threat’ to our republic or not? Or the ones who can shout the loudest, or have the most money, or believe in the ‘right’ religion, or have the most popular website?

Don’t you think (absent the definitely corruption influence of money and corporate power in politics today) that ‘democracy’ – as in majority rule, WITH fair representation of the minority – is still at the heart of what we stand for as a nation? Or do you think that you, or any group, has the right to impose your view on the rest of the population? Who decides this? Who is the judge? Isn’t reasoned discourse the answer? If you are so sure you are right, shouldn’t you be able to convince anyone IN CIVIL AND RESPECTFUL discourse of the validity of your position?
