Panel Of Researchers Expose SPLC’s Smear Tactics
The below videos are from a recent panel discussion at the National Press Club that included Mark Krikorian and Jerry Kammer of the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), Ken Silverstein of Harpers Magazine, and Carol Swain, a Vanderbilt University law professor.
The topic of the panel was the smear tactics of Southern Poverty Law Center, which uses the label “racist” as both a weapon against political opponents and to fund-raise, supporting lavish salaries for its leadership, by exaggerating the threat from real racist organizations such as the nearly defunct KKK.

Pay special attention to Carol Swain part 2, where she points out how the SPLC attempts to “discredit the Tea Party movement, which is allot of people who are concerned about America in the way I’m concerned about America.” Swain reads off SPLC’s “list of active patriot groups in 2009 … which lists Constitutional Party, Oath Keepers, We The People and just goes down the list of citizens militia, grand juries” and then talks about how incredibly dangerous it is for SPLC to suppress free speech and shut down open debate. She is right. SPLC, and the current US government officials who listen to it’s propaganda, are playing with fire.

All borders are already erased ONLINE. Still, we need to fully have secure national borders in as much as this serves the people of each nation concurrent with the constitution protecting the people within each nation from tyranny.
The Tea Party (Freedom) Movement in the USA is an excellent demonstration of We The People reminding the “government” it is the people who rule… our nation (USA), not anything or anyone else.

Interesting. The only people who seem to think Oath Keepers are some kind of threat are the radical SPLC left (and Bill O’Reilly.) I was at a Tea Party rally today, and the crowd was of every race, creed and color. Not a racist in sight. Lots of uniformed police, though- not doing anything helpful like directing traffic, just standing there being intimidating. Apparently they had orders to clear the protest site if the demonstrators overstayed their two-hour permit- needed to protest in a pubic park!!!! Most of them looked really uncomfortable while the local Oath Keepers were speaking. I was also playing “spot the undercover cop” and “spot the Fed.” At least two teams of undercover cops in the crowd, trying to blend in (fail!) and I did spot one fellow who might have been FBI. Anyway, that excessive police response to a peaceful demonstration showed me why Oath Keepers is essential to the preservation of Liberty, and why I joined up.

to keep things clear I will not tell you who I am supporting but I am going to be a City Captain for a Campaign, and I am running for Precinct Committee Officer. I will not be getting paid for any of what I am doing. I am just an Average Joe I not only attended the Tea Party but last year I was a key speaker in two cities. I am no racist but the SPLC would tell people that I am, because I am angry with the Government, and the Policies of this administration.
I am running for office not because I hate Black men, but because I hate the Corruption that has infested this Government, and the wickedness that has been trickling down.
I am an Oath Keeper, and I will uphold my oath until the day I die.
I think its about time we had some dirt to Rub in the eye of the SPLC thank God we won a Battle

Usually you will find that there’s an underlying reason for agencies such as the SPLC to exist with the government’s blessings.
This agency serves a government purpose just as other agencies do except some are more UN-American than others. But it’s always the government (or the shadow government) that is ultimately running the show, giving these agencies power and authority to subvert and continue to spew their lies and hatred in order to help program the gullible masses. The mainstream media is another such agency along with some others!
They are really tools of the government.
If you dig deep enough and ask yourself some questions as to why the government would actually be working against its own citizens, figure it out! The plan is to reduce everyone into complete servitude while the ruling elite satiate their insatiable desire for power and authority. If you can’t bring yourself to believe this, then I challenge you to keep digging until you solve the riddle.
And while I’m on the subject of government just remember, they copy the tactics of other despots throughout history, it’s just that now they have newer and improved methods of tyranny. But ultimately they all work on the public’s psyche to attain their goals. Sad really that we don’t understand that the true power is with the people. We just haven’t grasped that concept yet!

God bless the OathKeepers! The SPLC and ADL do nothing but defame and someone needs to sue their asses. SPLC’s attempts to discredit concerned Americans are so weak and transparent- I can’t believe they get any credibility. Even on their heavily moderated message boards (which they claim to want people’s comments), they only posts one sentence statements, people who agree with them, or the occasional complete ignoramus. I loathe those people. Local police MUST BE told not to trust them!

I’ve learned in my years that ignorant people throw up “Racism” whenever they feel like they are losing an argument. “Racist” is worse than “Rapist”.
