I was fortunate enough to be told of your organization by a friend. I am a veteran of over twenty years of service to America. I have retired from the reserves (Marine Corps and Army) but work as a state trooper in Montana.
As a Federal Law Enforcement Officer, I can tell you that many of us know why we are doing this job. We understand what our purpose is. We know it’s not to, “Blindly follow those that our Destroying our Country!”
I travel and do my best to educate people on what it took and takes to keep this country free and stand as the shining light for the world. Our founding fathers words and papers should not be forgotten, or corrupted.
On March 19, 1977, I raised my hand, for the first time, and pledged, on my honor, to faithfully support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, so help me, God.
When our Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution, they knew that in times of emergencies we as a people would have to restrain ourselves in order to save our republic.
I pray that all those who have taken the oath to protect the Constitution and People fully understand the origins and history from which it is derived, and never forget that they have entered into a life-long commitment.
The American people should know, that in the time of crises, that there are those, keepers of their Oath to the Constitution and the Flag of the people, who will not turn against them. Who will say no to any attempt to disarm and imprison them.
I may be the first of my fellow correctional officers to post with oath keepers, I hope I’m not the last. May the flame of liberty become a wild fire in the hearts of men and may it spread across the land from sea to shining sea!
I started my oath back in the summer of 1983 prior to my service into the Marines, since then my journey has taken me in to Nebraska National Guard and later into the Army Reserves.
I am proud to be here with service men and women who are smart enough to question the orders they receive and I am also proud 2 stand with the citizens who wont let them stand alone.
I remember standing in the MEPS station in downtown Detroit, raising my right hand like 50 or so others in the room with me. We repeated the words in unison as we were sworn into the Army. I could hear myself saying the words and I remember it clearly.
My family came to this Country in 1638 and my family has served and died for this Country. The USN Made me take the oath 5 times, I don’t think they believed me.
I support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and Domestic, so help me God. I’ll keep my Freedom, my guns, and Liberty
I will in turn be faithful, honest, and true to myself, my family, my friends and my country. Without God, honor, integrity, and truth, we are nothing. Peace to all; but, strength and perseverance to the soldiers
As a child, I remember talking with my Great-grandmother about our ancestry, as I found out that I was part Russian, German, and English and was confused.
Anderson Cooper sent a crew to Las Vegas to interview Stewart Rhodes in early April 2010. We taped that interview and will be uploading that video soon.
We have forgotten our Founding Fathers and the legacy of FREEDOM they have left us. We must commit ourselves to teaching others that our U.S. Constitution was written for us as Americans to live by.
