I was taught as a child to love and Honor my Country, Government and “OUR CONSTITUTION

USMCI took the oath to protect the Constitution for the first time in 1961, the was when I joined the Marines just as my father did during WWII.  I was proud then to take the oath have been proud of that oath ever since.  I also took the oath when I became a Federal Law Enforcement Officer and was as proud to again take the oath at that time as when I first raised my hand in 1961.

I was taught as a child to love and Honor my Country, Government and “OUR CONSTITUTION,” and have done so for the majority of my life.  However, now I have some real doubts about our elected officials and the government we have today. I still believe, but I do not believe the politicians we have today is as committed to “OUR CONSTITUTION” as I am, perhaps they never were.

LONG LIVE THE REPUBLIC!

Welcome aboard Tim. I took my oath to support and uphold our constitution also in 1961 as a Civil Servant at the Bureau of Naval Personnel. At that time there was also a clause “that I am not now, nor have I ever been, a member of the communist party”. I took it very seriously at age 18, and still to this day will die to support our constitution if it becomes necessary. When I look at what has happened in those 50 years, I am shocked and dismayed. It has slowly eroded to something nearly unrecognizable. Our children and grandchildren need to know how incredible our Constitutional Republic is and what sets it apart from other governments. God Bless America
