I love America and the Freedom we have here

067I first took the oath on 24 Nov 81…I was 18 then. I have taken the Oath 3 more times due to reenlistment in the US Army. I am currently Active Duty Army. The second time I took the Oath was after our country was attacked on Sept 11,2001. After an eighteen year break in service I enlisted in the TN Army National Guard and served as a Cannon crew member. Eight months later my unit mobilized for OEF/ONEII.

I was later released from the Guard for Active Duty May 2006. This time when I swore in for Active Duty the words of the Oath seem to ring loudly in my head, my heart began to pound and a lump grew in my throat. As I said the words “Do solemnly swear to support and defend the Constitution of the United States from all Enemies foreign and Domestic”…I had never felt so passionate after saying it as I did that day.

Since then I have served in Afghanistan and Reenlisted while in theater. Some of my family would ask me why I would do such a thing. I tell them because I love America and the Freedom we have here and I want my kids to enjoy the same freedoms that me and so many others are willing to give their life for. I believe in the Constitution of the United States and I will defend it with my life if need be.

I’ve been looking for an organization like this and then I saw the interview Bill O’Reilly did with the founder of OK. You will be hearing from me again. Rock of the Marne – Arming the Rock – Hooah!

    Good Morning Sgt. Frey,

I and thousands like me, feel and appreciate your passion for the Red, White and Blue. Unfortunately, O’Reilly is only the tip of the socialist iceberg. He would probably hiss and throw fits to know that many Americans now see him as caving in on conservatism. Just remember, he’s wrong, we’re right, and that’s the end of it. God bless and keep you safe, Paul David
