I am proud to join this group and look forward to participating
I am a retired Navy man and the proud parent of a US Marine. I thought I was alone in my absolute frustration, until I heard about this group. What a relief it is to see that there are so many other men and women out there that see where our government is headed. We have fought enemies on the battlefield that were less dangerous than the cancer affecting us today. That cancer is liberalism and apathy.
I come from a military background, having Grandfathers that fought in France and North Africa in the British Army, a father who served in the Royal navy, a sister who served in Northern Ireland and me who crossed the pond, ending up in the US Navy. I took my oath seriously when I took it in 1981. It means as much today as it did then.
I see us being slowly destroyed from within. If you oppose the onslaught of political correctness and the liberal agenda, you are labeled as a racist, homophobe, or any other derogatory term they can come up with. I choose not to lose our national identity, and choose not to stand idly by as our constitution is discarded by the very people that have been entrusted to protect it. I am proud to join this group and look forward to participating.
Please donate and support Oath Keepers mission, every little bit helps!

You’re definitely not alone. Join the club and welcome aboard. It seems our group is becoming more relevent every day. For the first time a lot of people that thought we were nothing but a bunch of “right wing extremists” or dismissed our concerns as some type of over reaction are now coming to the realization that we are nothing of the sort nor are we over reacting. We just saw with our own eyes the Congress of the United States spit in our faces and trample on our Constitution. Although the intent for most of us was to “head them off at the pass” so that they would not attempt something they might regret and come to their senses it appears that we must “remain at the ready.” We just got served notice. Are our Sheriffs going to allow a Federal IRS agent to arrest one of his or her citizens for not buying a mandated Federally acceptable insurance? They don’t have that authority or jurisdiction, nevermind it’s completely unconstitutional. These bastards in power now are playing for real and it might be up to us to set them straight.

So those of us who supported the bill are to be killed, then?

Anonymous: What? What the hell was that comment about? How the hell did you make that jump? A citizen supporting a bill is a right as a citizen. You can support any damn bill you want, we couldn’t care less. You can openly root for the government to bypass the Constitution if you want. We could give a rat’s ass. What are you trying to do, bait someone to say something as inane and ridiculous as that?

It just seems to me that the main focus of this site is the legitimization of political violence. Anyone who supports the health care reform law is a traitor, right? And what are the Oath Keepers going to do to traitors?

it sounds like anonymous is very much in favor of our rights being trampled and wants to bait whoever is in favor of preserving our freedoms and rights into an argument, and making them appear violent, when the violent ones are the ones trampling on others constitutional rights and forcing them to defend their constitutional liberties

I want to join, but I do not have the money! Congress action over the health care thing, was my last eye opener and i believe it is going to be used as an excuse to start marshall law on all of us, and then easy to take more freedom away.

And yet you guys won’t deny that you intend to do violence to those who disagree with you. That’s the American way. Bravo, patriots.

Nonpartisan, my ass.
When you storm the barricades, be advised I will be on the other side, defending the lawful orders of my Congress acting as prescribed by the U.S. Constitution.

Anonymous and Chief, first of all no one is talking about violence so quit trying to get anyone to say so, but, keep in mind a revolution is coming and it will be seen and have its effects at the polls when it is time to vote. However, Chief if it is your intent to defend lawful orders that violate the constitution then so be it, you will stand against many……
