Tens of thousands of people descended on Washington today, lining up in circles around the Capitol, in protest of a pending vote Sunday on President Obama’s trillion dollar plan that would take over health care across America. That’s some $500 billion in cuts from funding for U.S. seniors and another nearly like amount in new taxes.
Promoters of the bill have touted the millions who will be added to health-care rolls and claimed it will lead to deficit “reduction,” although opponents say supporters have used accounting tricks to keep hundreds of millions of dollars in expenses out of the fine print of the bill.
Critics of the reform bill cite the abortion financing the government would require, massive fines, especially against married couples, for whatever a government health czar would decide is unsatisfactory, and the general principle that nowhere in the U.S. Constitution – which sets limits on the federal government’s powers – is there an authorization to force people to buy the health-insurance program a federal bureaucrat picks out.
Until earlier today, Democrats had signalled they planned to use a controversial parliamentary procedure to force passage without a direct vote of the members of Congress.
That action, dubbed the “Slaughter maneuver” for the chief of the House rules committee, Rep. Louise Slaughter, D-N.Y., was meant to “deem” the original bill to have passed, relieving Democrats from having to go on the record with their votes ahead of next November’s elections.
Tom Fitton, chief of Judicial Watch, which investigates and prosecutes government corruption, called the deeming plan a “constitutional crisis.”
“The Democratic leadership’s plan to use the ‘Slaughter Rule’ to pass the Senate health care bill without an explicit ‘yea or nay’ vote by the House is an absolute violation of the U.S. Constitution,” he said.
Fox News reported today that even the Democrats now were claiming their plan to use “deem and pass” was being dropped. The decision to go to a straight up or down vote could indicate Speaker Nancy Pelosi is confident she has corralled the votes she needs or that her members fear the growing backlash building over passing the unpopular bill using the Slaughter Rule.

I think it is entirely fitting to put this struggle in that context, and to draw the direct analogy to chattel slavery. Just because the plantation owner promises to provide room and board, and to patch you up so long as you are useful to him does not make you any less an “asset” among the other assets on his plantation, among his cattle, and you should not expect to be treated any differently.

And just what the hell does hiring 16,500 more IRS agents have to do with Obama’s Health Care Plan?
Well … if you decide not to get on the ObamaCare Plan, the IRS will fine you and/or garnish your wages and/or withhold your federal income tax refund.
If that does not work, these new IRS agents will knock on your door to arrest you by violence.
If that doesn’t work and you physically resist being arrested by these IRS agents, you will be shot.
Hows that for frikkin Health Care in America folks!

the New IRS workers whole job is to track those who do no buy health care, and fine them, after 3 mo. they will come to arrest you for failing to have your medical. the Revolution became such because the laws that were made, in turn made normal legal people Criminals. Peaceful resistance only works for so long. When the tyrants keep turning a deaf ear to our grievances the time has come to say “Enough Said”.
With all the protests,marches etc. we have accomplished absolutely nothing. How long will we let the traitors shove us around? How long? Not long. When the time comes drop the protest signs and and pick up something they will hear. That’s what the founders did.

Does the Military not see or care what is happening to the USA. Why are the Republicans not doing anything? If they have info that could stop this take over why are they not stepping up to the plate to save the country, or do they not care and are complicit? Just my two cents worth.

Ah yes support, There is a lot of anger and it is so right for the time! But we must use all peaceful ways at our hands before the violence! The time is not now! We are still in the peaceful part! Don’t worry if and when the time comes everybody will know! So now is the time to get involved in your locals and states! We can’t win if we are not together on this! Believe me it is not over yet! we are going to get amnesty and Cap and Trade yet! There is going to be a lot of anger yet to come! Don’t forget this has been in the planning since early 1900’s! I know it’s hard because I feel it every day! But I also know we will Win! They are hoping that we do this the force way! But we have to be smarter! And after all they will bring it on their selves! Just look at how the Oath Keepers are growing, more are getting involved! So lets do this right, and be right if force comes to pass! Just my 2 cents!
