I am and always be an Oath Keeper
My father always preached to me the significance of our last name to me (Wallace). Remarks of liberty and freedom were at the center of each lecture. He told me that for my family, freedom is earned, and said that in order to earn freedom one has to put something on the line for it, something significant. I took his message and enlisted on December 12, 2007 in the National Guard for 6 years. I took my oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States in a ceremonial room inside the Seattle MEPS. I remember my palm sweating and my heart pounding as I made promises to myself and my fellow American, knowing full well what I may be risking by enlisting. I take my promise seriously. I am and always be an Oath Keeper.
