I stand with the Oath Keepers
The first time I took the oath was as a Naval reserve boot in the basement of the county courthouse in Garfield county, Oklahoma. As a wet behind the ears high school student. Basically it was just automatically “repeat after me”, not a lot of awareness in those days. It was a different world then. No one at that time could even imagine the U.S. descending into the state we are in today.
The second time around was in the U.S. Army recruiting station in Manchester, NH. I had served a year in the Navy reserve and had a little firmer grasp of military tradition and the history of our military in peace and war around the world. I now understood and paid a bit more attention to the words I was repeating.
Still at that time I considered it more ceremonial than relevant, after all who would believe any domestic enemy ever, in our wildest imaginations, would blatantly and purposely do all within their power to destroy our constitution, deprive us of our rights and destroy all that has made our country great.
It is only in the last couple of decades the relevance and seriousness of that oath has struck home with me. So now I stand with those Oath keepers, Sons of Liberty Riders and Tea Party Patriots in the struggle to take our country back.

Welcome,
I also could’t not believe the direction our country is taking, and was so pleased to find out about Oath Keepers. I took my oath when I started my civil service job with the Bureau of Naval Personnel, right out of high school in 1961. I’d always been proud to be an American and at that time we had portraits of Washington and Lincoln in our classrooms and saluted our flag every morning. We also celebrated their birthdays separately and had special events, skits etc to mark the occasions. God Bless America and God Bless Oath Keepers.
