I stand proud
I first took the oath in January 1967, something I had been anticipating for some time. I’m from that generation just after WWII. My father took the oath at Paris Island in 1943. He would later go on to become a Marine with the 1st Division and participated in many of the major battles of the south pacific, until wounded at Iwo Jima. The war was over for him. As southeast Asia warmed up. I prepared to follow in my father’s boot prints, to defend and protect our country and interests. After my 2 tours I returned home to. Being told I was a fool for serving in Vietnam. I’ve been called a baby-killer, a murderer a war-monger. Still I stand proud, determined and convinced, it was worth it, the cause was just. I’d lay it all on the line once again if needed.

I served in Saigon, Ben Hoa, Song Be, Camp Holloway, Pleiku AFB, Kontum. With the 125th ATC Air Traffic Control, Company 1st Aviation Brigade. RVN Oct.67–Sept.69
It appears our country and Constitution are calling out again, to right the wrongs that have been fraudulently passed off as legitimate. And return the government to Constitutional rule and preserve it for future generations.
I again look forward to the call to duty and honor to restore and defend it against all attempts to corrupt and eliminate all it stands for. My father passed away several years ago. But I’m sure he will be there with me and other patriots to renew the founding fathers goal.
The Constitution of the United States.

Took my first oath in September of 67. Served with the 1st Logistics Sub Motor Pool at Long Binh from April 69 until May 70. Made many trips to Bien Hoa and Saigon as a driver. I am proud to have been there and wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.

Thank you for your service !!
I was also in Song Be in 1970, I was assigned there after leaving the 9th Div and working as a FO with the 6/31 Inf. I was in a small compound ( 67 men) in the town next to the airstrip out side FB Buttons. Neat little place.
I’m also a member of OK and proud to be one.
