I proudly served in the NAVY as did my father before me.

nj2I proudly served in the NAVY as did my father before me.  I was fortunate enough to have served on the U.S.S. New Jersey for two years before she was decommissioned.  The U.S.S. New Jersey was a symbol of America’s desire to maintain its belief of democracy and freedom from oppression, and its power to defend it.  As the BB62 was retired, I am afraid the patriotic involvement of the American public has diminished as well.  I will defend the Constitution till death, and I can only hope many others feel the same as I do.
