This guy above called you guys scare me must truly be a scared little coward. He is the kind of person we will have to step over when the ball gets rolling. As far as communism and fascism existing together, that is a possiblility because what we have happening in this country is a communist/fascist venture. The state is aligning with corporations to take over this country so get your facts straight, you guys scare me. Thank you David Berry for signing on to Oathkeepers, we all truly bleed red. Bush, Clinton, Nixon, Obama, etc., are all part of this little plan. They all have been involved at chipping away at Freedom, and what this country stands for. Obama is just the next puppet to help finish THEIR agenda. Strap your boots on everyone, it is going to get really muddy. Keep up the great work Oathkeepers!!!!!

Welcome to Oath Keepers!
I was worried about this organization at first but when you look closely you see that in reality, the left, the right, it makes no difference when it comes to defending the constiution.
Errors are made in both parties as well as due and good and diligent serivice. As oath keepers it is our task to hold people’ feet to the constitutional fire and make sure that the principles this nation is bult on remain intact and in working order.
If we continue to grow there will be no room for the neocons, the extreme left, corporate dominance, nor the NWO. Sanity will prevail under constitutional law and the people will stand free.

I’m glad to see a number of others with progressive leanings on this forum. This country’s founders, particularly Thomas Jefferson, were radical progressives. One of the things Thomas Jefferson warned us about most fervently was big money taking over our government, which has most definitely happened. I believe Mr. Obama is trying to take us away from that and towards an America where the working man’s interests are represented by our government, I just wish he’d stop kowtowing to the other side of the isle, which is dominated by industrialist, corporate goons posing as conservatives and patriots. They are neither.

Honestly, what exactly did the Bush administration “conserve”?

Wow, you need to read some history. The fascists in WW2 fought against and killed millions of communists. And if you think socialism is bad, you’d be at odds with every law officer on this site and elsewhere, because they’re paid by your taxes……pure socialism. You also better close down your local fire stations, public schools and all public works which also operate in a socialistic fashion, or better yet, get a brain and stop watching Fox news. Beck, O’Reilly and Limbaugh don’t care how much hate they’re dredging up, nor do they themselves believe 80% of the crap that comes out of their mouths, they say what they say because and ONLY because it’s making them very rich.

The American voter is supposed to be intelligent enough to know when he’s being lied to.

Read your history. The Nazi party was founded by Anton Drexler and when Hitler took it over he purged the Socialists and MOST of the Socialist philosophy. The name, however, stuck. Nazism and Fascism are linked, but if you look at how Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy were actually governed, you see there are marked differences– same with the USSR, whose political and economic philosophy, though nominally Communist, varied considerably over time.
Also, it’s time to stop being paranoid. Obama’s a smart guy who, while not necessarily 100% transparent, actually reaches across the aisle. The health care bill that got passed in Congress is much more like Romney’s reform in Massachusetts or the GOP’s counterproposal to the Clinton Administration’s proposal in the early 1990s than it is to any form of single-payer or universal health care like they have in Canada or Europe. Everyone from Canada and Europe whom I’ve met actually quite like the security they get from their health programs. Right now we pay for limited government health care programs AND oversight of private ones through taxes, plus whatever private insurance we MIGHT have– in single payer systems individuals pay less on average because they’re not paying 2-3 times for the same thing, just once. Statistics on international health expenditures bear this out very clearly. It isn’t government control of your life, it’s the government looking out for the health of it’s citizens. Don’t conflate those things.
If you guys want widespread support from the US, you need to lay EXACTLY what you stand for out clearly– not speak in vagueries, nor engage factually flawed and logically fallacious argumentation. It seems that some people here are very reasonable, concerned citizens who would be members regardless of who’s President or who’s in charge or what policies are pursued. Others seem like the stereotype of the ill-informed, paranoid ‘gun nut.’ I feel sorry for the former.

Dave Hinton – Seriously, you’re basing your conclusion that communism and nazism are examples of the same thing upon the fact that the word “socialist” appears in “National Socialist Worker’s Party” and “Union of Soviet Socialist Republics”?! Just HOW far, exactly, did you get in school? Instead of getting your “history” lessons from morons like Glen Beck, try doing a little independent reading, and educate yourself about the concepts you’re going to pontificate on before you pontificate. Otherwise, you just look like another run-of-the-mill tunnel-visioned rightwing wingnut ideologue

First, i was listening to rush this morning on the radio. he had read a blog about the obamacare thing and read comments for the first time. he realized that the true americans were posting fear for this great nation. the only negative comments were made by republican bashers… i mean the democrats who don’t care about the nation all they care about is making fun and beating the republicans.
now “republican” can mean a political party it doesn’t in this case. it means any american who doesn’t like were this nation is going.
on here Oatkeepers.org its the same way, i find it funny that dems get on to blogs and bash them if they don’t fit into their format. i don’t really give a rat’s ass (excuse my french) what they have to say because their minds are closed. when they open them and are willing to listen i will have a convo. with them.
I just heard about this group from facebook. i don’t think im going to join due to monetary/job issues. no job, in school, and student loan has all my money o wait that was the government i apologize for my brain fart.
i know this is long but i do believe bush had some bad things in his mind and all politicians let alone people in america are corrupt, it’s just how much power that we have that makes us different from them.
i can’t remember all of the comments that were made to reply to them, with my opinions, but the comment of “I see that black are welcome, as it appears are Jews” why does any white man created association/group have to be thought of as racist/skin head/neo-naziist. we have gotten past slavery/ segragation and the nazi’s, or so i thought. i wish we could get back to the way it was before.
