I pledge to learn and teach our rights from the Constitution

constitutionWhen I took the oath back in 2001, I felt a little overwhelmed when raising my right hand.  Yes, I knew what it meant to a certain point.  Truthfully, I was one of those that really didn’t care what was going on.  The main reason was because I thought what I didn’t know wouldn’t hurt.

My father really explained most of everything that was going on in the US and the world.  Not only who was really leading it but what was happening, and what was going to happen.  After a few days of being stuck in my apartment, I have watched numerous videos that he sent me.  From this point on, I have become more aware on what is really going on.  Now that inspires me to learn more about what is happening and what they are trying to impose on us.  From this day forward, I pledge to learn and teach our rights from the Constitution.

I really didn’t think much on how things were operated and didn’t really care.  But know I have a new desire to learn and apply such things to my life and to my actions.

Nothing to it, Gregory. Heck, a lot of us had no real idea what the Oath really meant at the time we first took it. Only later, after watching circumstances swirl around us like a hurricane, did we stop, saying “No more.”

We, like you, realized we did not have all the answers. The things we saw going on around us did not fit our preconceived notions of right, just and honorable acts.

Things have changed. These days people across the Country, and indeed around the World, again speak the word “Honor”, without snickering afterward. They see their illustrious leaders strutting like peacocks in the park, making a god awful racket, but delivering none of their promises not keeping their word.
Those are the types we will be compared against. In this battle, may the truthful, honorable man and woman be the victor.

My best to you, and all who keep the Oath,
    Randall Covey
