Testimonial by LRRP Vietnam Vet and Peace Officer

LRRP I made this pledge at the young age of 17 called early entry into the Army in 1967.

“I solumly pledge to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America form all enemies both foreign and domestic, so help me God”!

My oath hasn’t changed nor will it until the day I die! I served two tours in Viet Nam in a LRRP provisional at Phu Bai and continued to serve for seven more years as a CID investigator with several TDY tours back to the big Green.

I then served as a civilian police officer for several jurisdictions to total 27 years in law enforcement. I continue to serve in any way shape or form to promote 2nd Amendment Rights.

CJ Miller FSC US Army,thank you for your testimonial, for your patriotism, and for your service. It is a daunting challenge to take this country back. But fewer men have done greater deeds. I am confident with men like you it can be done. Wish you all the best. It makes me proud to stand with you.

Proud to have you with us. It’s a nice feeling that there are many others that feel the same exact things and are willing to do what we must. Hopefully we have already accomplished the real mission; to head them off at the pass and make them realize “it ain’t gonna happen” and to let the citizens know that we’re not a bunch of stormtroopers that have aspirations of imposing our will on them for some selfish need to elevate our own self-importance and authority. Hopefully there are everyday citizens that see that there are many of us that not only respect the Constitution, but recognize that THEY are the most important resource in this country and we will defend and protect them always, that THEY are the ones that WE rely on for support, and that THEY are our friends, neighbors, family, and we would never betray them for anyone or anything.

Oath of Enlistment

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

Site Dedication

This site is dedicated to the memory of John William Adams (1925-2006), Marine and Oath Keeper extraordinaire.

John Adams, at the age of 16, lied about his age to join the Marines so he could fight against Imperial Japan in the Pacific. His enlistment date was December 10, 1941, just three days after the attack on Pearl Harbor (see below). As a Marine rifleman, he fought the Japanese from island to island, across the pacific, including at Iwo Jima. We may have good men, but we never had better.

Until his death in 2006, he was a dedicated patriot who still took his oath to defend the Republic deadly serious. May God grant you the courage to do likewise.

Founder Stewart Rhodes

He is a former firearms instructor and former member of Rep. Ron Paul’s DC staff.

Stewart previously wrote the monthly Enemy at the Gates column for S.W.A.T. Magazine

Stewart graduated from Yale Law School in 2004, where his paper “Solving the Puzzle of Enemy Combatant Status” won Yale’s Miller prize for best paper on the Bill of Rights. He assisted teaching U.S. military history at Yale, was a Yale Research Scholar, and is writing a book on the dangers of applying the laws of war to the American people.
