I have been looking for something like Oath Keeper

us_navy_logoI have been looking for something like Oath Keepers for while now. It’s great to be a part of this. I came from a time when public schools still taught why America was great. I joined the navy after high school  and did lots of cool things. But, for some reason I was born to be a man of principles and a champion for real and complete freedom. My wife is afraid that my decision to join Oath Keepers will cause negative attention from the government goons. Well, I thought about it. And said, isn’t it sad that we have to fear our government like that, in a country that is suppose to be the lighthouse of freedom. I can not imagine a better reason to take this path and honor my oath. And so, for freedom i will stand until I fall. And I may. Get up again and again etc. etc. etc. and so forth.

  1. Welcome aboard and thank you for your service. You’re right: while OathKeepers is not just about the current “issues”, it is sad that everything that comes from our “representatives” now needs to be distrusted.
Jefferson would say that we should never place too much trust in government, but Americans should be able to at least listen with the assumption that we are probably not being lied to by those we elect.
At least we know that most of our warriors WANT to uphold their oaths, and that is a good position to start from.
