I am proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with all of you out there, and shout NOT ON MY WATCH!!

91101logo I have never been in a hard charging unit of our military, I have not had the experience of patrolling the streets of downtown Baghdad, or making a traffic stop on Main Street, USA. I have had the opportunity to serve my community as both a volunteer and career firefighter. As part of my duties I have on several occasions taken the oath defend OUR country, Our constitution, and Our community. Whether they need defending from tyranny, oppression, man made or natural disasters, I stand ready to make to make a charge for freedom, a change for the better. In a time when many are asking what’s in it for me? WE are asking what is in me… what can I bring to the fight? I am proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with all of you out there, and shout NOT ON MY WATCH!!!

Wow! It takes a lot of courage to admit we are on the wrong path. We too often want to just ignore it, thinking it will all go away. But the “drifting away” from the foundation of what has made every freedom we now enjoy possible, is only become more swift and undeniable. If we let go of our freedoms now, it will cost a lot more to get them back. I am proud of my fellow Americans who are willing to make stand now, and to do what they can to prevent the destruction of our founding Constitution. There are cracks all over in our building, but the foundation is sound. Let us go back to the foundation, and re-model. But let us not destroy the foundation, and blame it for the destruction or our nation as most leaders in this country are now doing. They want to destroy the foundation to fix the structure. How absurd is this thinking! Yet this idea prevails. God bless all who seek not to save our nation for ourselves, but to Honor Him who gave it to us.

Massachusetts voters just gave notice to the sons of bitches that thought they would be able to impose a different type of government on our Republic. We’ve got them scrambling right now and hopefully re-evaluating what they were trying to do. They’re on the run right now, not us.

Having served in both the Army and then as a State Trooper, I know fire fighters as incredibly able, self sacrificing, men of courage. I stand proudly beside you in our fight to preserve the Republic and our way of life. Those who would attempt to turn this into a Socialist country and take our freedoms, face a fierce group of able oath keepers.

Oath of Enlistment

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

Site Dedication

This site is dedicated to the memory of John William Adams (1925-2006), Marine and Oath Keeper extraordinaire.

John Adams, at the age of 16, lied about his age to join the Marines so he could fight against Imperial Japan in the Pacific. His enlistment date was December 10, 1941, just three days after the attack on Pearl Harbor (see below). As a Marine rifleman, he fought the Japanese from island to island, across the pacific, including at Iwo Jima. We may have good men, but we never had better.

Until his death in 2006, he was a dedicated patriot who still took his oath to defend the Republic deadly serious. May God grant you the courage to do likewise.

Founder Stewart Rhodes

He is a former firearms instructor and former member of Rep. Ron Paul’s DC staff.

Stewart previously wrote the monthly Enemy at the Gates column for S.W.A.T. Magazine

Stewart graduated from Yale Law School in 2004, where his paper “Solving the Puzzle of Enemy Combatant Status” won Yale’s Miller prize for best paper on the Bill of Rights. He assisted teaching U.S. military history at Yale, was a Yale Research Scholar, and is writing a book on the dangers of applying the laws of war to the American people.
