I know why it is great to live in America
Hello fellow oath Keepers, I enlisted in the Ohio Amy National Guard in august 1986. Always being interested in automobiles growing up in my dad’s garage learning, working, and getting dirty. The (MOS)63B light wheel vehicle mechanic seemed a proper fit for me. My basic training was at Ft. Knox, KY. and (AIT)at FT. DIX, NJ. I excelled in studies and graduated in the top three of my class. The military bug had bit me and came very close to joining the regular army.
Right after basic, I wanting to try ranger school. To be that young and motivated, what a feeling! After returning home I got settled in my local unit 837th Engineers, in St.Marys, OH. I started learning from the other guy’s in the maintenance section, made friends, that I still have today and am very proud of that. In 1989 I applied for full-time mechanic at the state level and got the job working at O.M.S.#17, in Lima, OH. Again learned, worked, and got dirty. After two years there, I received the most improved mechanic award, and the person that helped me a lot said okay, NOW DO IT AGAIN. His nickname was supertroop and I owe a lot of my accomplishments to him because he always pushed me to the next level of professionalism. My dad and supertroop’s work ethic, and selfless dedication to the team is what I carry with me today and forever.
Because of great men like these and many of other American veterans I stand up straight, chest out, chin high, and know why it is great to live in America!
Please donate and support Oath Keepers mission, every little bit helps!

Welcome and thank you for your service.
Ohio seems to have a lot of patriots – make sure you check out your state group; probably find a lot of friends!
