I am proud to be an Oath Keeper. Not on our watch

bfd2I am a veteran, not on active duty, so I feel uncomfortably like a cheerleader since I am not the one who will be called upon to take the bold step of not obeying orders that I think are unlawful. To those of you who have vowed to do that, I offer my respect and gratitude.

I have thought about the oath that I swore when I enlisted into the Marine Corps for many years. I no longer carry a rifle in defense of the Constitution. Now I am reduced to words but I will never forsake the oath that I swore.

I have joined the Oath Keepers in solidarity with you and will do what I can to send the message to all who will listen to me. I am proud to be an Oath Keeper. Not on our watch. Semper Fidelis.

Proud Marine thank you for your service to our beloved country. You may not carry a rifle anymore, but that fire in your gut you carry scares the hell out of our enemy.
