I remember the chill and tingle in my hair and my voice staggering in pride as I spoke the oath

Oath keeper patch1I took many oaths growing up. I took oaths in kids clubs with friends, Indian guides, Cub Scouts, Webelos, Boy Scouts etc… When I was pushed out of the nest to test my wings, I chose to join the US Armed Forces. I remember the chill and tingle in my hair and my voice staggering in pride as I spoke the oath to the Constitution for the first time. I recognize how important the oath was, is, and will be. I look through history of my family and see history is trying to repeat in America. I will stand true to my oath to the US Constitution and encourage everyone I meet to do the same. We cannot let another contract to a union of people in America be voided.

Gene.

Gene, I’ll bet that most of us were Cub Scouts, Webelos, and Boy Scouts. Institutions like these affirm our Christian conservative heritage and build on the morals and love of country that our parents taught us (at least the way mine taught me). That is why as our Bible and Constitution are under attack, so are the Boy Scouts. These brave boys and their leaders come under attack from doing good (which is unbelieveable in itself), while remaining true to the oaths they took, and not giving in to outside pressure from the ACLU and the like. Even we as adults can take a lesson here and stick firm to our convictions. May God bless them and you.
