This organization gives me a voice amongst those that matter most to me

secondhalfofcruise089I am a second class petty officer in the United States Navy. I love this organization because to be here is to understand the significance of one’s oath and the willingness to share ideas. I joined just to explore the world while ensuring that I was part of the solution instead of the problem. Despite the fact that I do at times feel like just a number, I couldn’t imagine my life without the Navy. After being a part of both Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, I can say truthfully that I have played my part and continue to do so. This organization gives me a voice amongst those that matter most to me other than my family and close friends. To know that law enforcement officers and civilians alike understand and defend our constitutional rights at home while I’m abroad makes me feel safer. I support this organization wholeheartedly and hope to see more of my brothers and sisters in arms amongst us. Reach, teach, and inspire!

Thank you for your service!! What you stated is exactly what Oath keepers is striving for…namely, to reach, teach and inspire!! Slowly but surely the general public, peace officers and military personnel are realizing the importance of the Oath to the Constitution!!! The tipping point is fast-coming whereby the Oath “breakers” will hold no sway over our military or police!! When that day arrives, our Republic will be saved!!

Welcome aboard, and thank you for your service. It will be great when we can get more in service to stop and recognize what it is they owe allegiance to. Meantime, any hypothetical “despots” planning on subverting the United States must already take us into consideration:
they cannot now ASSUME that they will be supported blindly in abusing or subjugating the American People that are defended by that Constitution.

It is the clear thinking individual officer/soldier who will hold sway over his own actions and not easily be hurried or confused into doing something improper.

Be prepared to be accused of being something that in your wildest dreams you know you would never be. I was disturbed by some of the charges that I read until I came to the realization that a group of soldiers, peace officers, veterans, patriots, firefighters, and concerned citizens that actually believe in the Constitution and the rights it provides IS a danger to those currently in power in Washington and the mindset of all politicians that think Government is the answer to everything regardless of their political affiliation. The founder of the organization readily identifies that not ALL the orders will apply all the time, for example “not to conduct warrantless searches”. Of course, most peace officers know that this happens all the time in the course of our daily duties and those particular searches are Constitutional. The same applies to a couple of other orders but the INTENT of the pledge has not been lost on us. We know what the intention is, where the line will be drawn, and why we will do what we have to do. The idea is to make us all start thinking about these things PRIOR to being caught off guard and railroaded into acting… like what happened during Katrina. Hopefully the mere existence of this body will be enough to deter what we all suspect was the intention of our elected officials and their affiliates. If that is the case then we have already done our duty.
