I will not remain silent

Logo3USAFFirst off I have to say that I am impressed with this group or otherwise I wouldn’t have signed up. I am a retired USAF Cop with over 22 years of service to my country and feel that just because I retired doesn’t mean that the Oath I swore to protect my Country was terminated with my active duty status. However, I am at a crossroads. The Country in which I was born has changed so much. The values taught to me by my grandparents, hard work, ethics (the everyday kind not the ethics they teach in Harvard), and responsibility for one’s actions, are pretty much gone.

Tolerance has been replaced with Political Correctness, Compassion and Charity replaced with Social Welfare. Since I retired in 2001 I have been navigating in a hostile environment without any real clue as to how civilians think and act. I know that may sound silly to some, but I was 17 when my folks signed me into the military. Before that I had three years of Army JROTC. I was surrounded by people who knew, understood and embraced the concept of Honor and Duty. People who knew and practiced the concept of hard work and dedication to goals higher than one’s self. Please don’t get me wrong, not all civilians are bad – heck I guess I am one now and I don’t think I am bad. However, I cannot stand by any longer. I cannot remain silent. This Country is heading straight to Socialism. Once there, it will not be long before Fascism takes control. For those folks who would scoff at these remarks, I ask you to look back 10 years or even 20 and tell me you’re not amazed that this Country is debating and fighting over issues unimaginable back then. Who could have guessed our Country is so far in debt that we’ll never get out in my lifetime, if ever.

I’ll end this here and apologize if I must, for such a long submission. I still hold to my Oath and I do support the “10 Orders I will not Obey.” But I will not remain silent. I will not submit to the Socialists. I will not sit by while the sovereignty of this Nation is leveraged dollar by dollar to foreign governments and bankers. I will not give up anymore of my Rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution, for the sake of Socialism. I will not….. God Save Us All.

  3. welcome to oath keepers. As for the attitude toward civilians, most are not the idiots that some thank they are. I can look back 61 years and the civilians are the ones who will take this country back. Our children have been indoctrinated and de-educated by an evil entity that exists and controls our educational system and is now in control of our federal govt. but not much longer. It gained control illegally and will be removed legally.

  4. Well said Chuck, good to see more good people joining the Oathkeepers, I am more and more amazed the more I research at just what a monster the Corporate Military machine is, could the US Military even function now with out companies Like L3, CACI, Dyncorp? they seem to control just about every aspect, even their rhetoric leaves a bad taste, soldiers are now referred to as WARFIGHTERS, I urge anyone who is not aware of these companies to look them up and look at their boards of Directors.
