I took off my uniform in 1990, but I still wear my oath in my heart
I took my oath in 1969. I stood by that for 21 years in the USAF. Now, as a civilian, I see that perhaps we uniformed types are the only ones who seem to understand what it means to take an oath. Never in my wildest days did I think we would run into so many ‘domestic’ enemies of the Constitution. I took off my uniform in 1990, but I still wear my oath in my heart. Always ready to serve!

LIKE YOU,I STILL WEAR MY OATH IN MY HEART… HOWEVER, TODAY WE SEE TOO FEW OATH TAKERS STANDING UP AGAINST THIS DESTRUCTION OF THE CONSTITUTION… I HAVE BEEN REPRIMANDED FOR MY USE OF THE WORDS, “DEATH TO THE TRAITORS OF THE U.S CONSTITUTION AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE”. I DO NOT CALL FOR THE OVERTHROW OF THE U.S GOVERNMENT, BUT I DO CALL FOR THE RETURN OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL PRINCEPLES OUR GOVERNMENT WAS FOUNDED ON… ANYTHING LESS IS TREASON… LIKE YOU I NEVER IN MY WILDEST THOUGHTS DID I FORSEE THE DAY WHEN I WOULD TAKE UP ARMS AGAINST TYRANNY IN MY OWN COUNTRY…LET’S PRAY THAT THE STATSEMEN WILL HEED OUR CALLS AND STOP THIS MADNESS…
STANDING WATCH WITH YOU, BROTHER…
I may not be an active or past law official or military but I do remember this thing we said in our school every morning, its call the “Pledge of Allegiance”. Since that is the closest thing to an Oath I think I have been offered to take I disagree about your statement. I have plenty of friends who have not taken an oath but are very patriotic…..
