I found oath keepers, read the mission statement and joined

us_navy_logoI first took the oath 30November1977 it was my 17th birthday at the Armed Forces Enlistment Station Dallas, Texas. I proudly went on to serve the next 4 years in the US NAVY and was separated from active duty 11December1981, things were pretty tough out in the world and had seriously considered re-enlisting about a year later. That did not happen.

I’ve not really given much thought to the oath until 2008.

Watching the direction the nation has been fast tracking towards since January 2009 my 1st born having been born December 2008, I began recalling the cold fall day I 1st took the oath in 1977. I found oath keepers on www.michaelsavage.com read the mission statement and joined. Since then things have accelerated steadily since then. Upon receipt of the membership packet I’ve been about spreading the word further.
