I still believe today, in that same Constitution that our founding fathers gave us.
I took my oath on 16 October 1966 and I will defend this great country, ordained by God, and it’s Constitution until I die.
At the very least, there are people in public office today who are misguided about what our country stands for. At the worst, there may be those who are planning the demise of this great nation and its way of life.
Those of us who are old enough are now learning that the trust we had in the education system of this country was certainly compromised. Our children were not taught the same morals, principles and history that we knew. We are now reaping the consequences of that mistake. There are way too many people who are willing to accept the “changes” to our American way of life and the move toward socialism that exists today. We fought communism and its spread throughout the world, only to find that it was eroding our society from the inside out.
I stood for and believed in the Constitution in 1966 when I raised my right hand and I STILL BELIEVE TODAY, in that same Constitution that our founding fathers gave us.
Ben Franklin said “We have given you a republic, if you can keep it.” Can we keep it? Or will we allow our republic and our constitution to be dismantled and our rights systematically taken away?
“NOT ON OUR WATCH!”
