Today, just after I checked out what was going on in the Oath Keepers web site, I decided to take a drive to Valley Forge National Park and all I was going to do was drive thru just to think about things and the way they are.
It’s great to be a part of this. I came from a time when public schools still taught why America was great. I joined the navy after high school and did lots of cool things. But, for some reason I was born to be a man of principles and a champion for real and complete freedom.
I first joined the Army 1979, I have rejoined 5 years ago. My family has helped create this Great Country of ours from day one, and has help defend it ever since. I promise to carry on the proud family tradition.

I had a dream the other night, I didn’t understand. A figure walking through the mist, with flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty, as he stood there by the bed, He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low, he said:
“Not on my watch!” An answer quick to remember, and easily understood. I am veteran proud, and will stand tall among the defense of my country. I am a veteran of the U S Navy, and still swear/affirm to my oath to defend the Constitution.
Beginning with the War of Revolution the men and a few of the women in my family have fought in every war America has been involved in (including both sides of the War between the States)
an oath my father swore before he died at Okinawa fighting the Japanese Empire, the oath my brothers and I swore before our service in Vietnam and Germany, and the oath my nephew has sworn on his way to Afghanistan this year.
Twenty years as a police officer and another 15 years in law enforcement in the private sector. I never violated the constitution and never attempted to enforce any law that I believed to be unconstitutional like the licensing of a constitutional right.
We are both Vietnam Veterans. I served with the United States Air Force, and Cheryl was an Army Nurse. Cheryl was stationed at the 93rd EVAC Hospital at Long Bien Army Base in 1969, and I was with USAF Det 1, 377th Combat Support Group attached the 1st Marine Air Wing, 12th Marine Air Group at Bien Hoa Air Base and An Loc in 1971-72.
Both our parents were retired Army Officers, my brother escaped with his life in Nam after being shot down and my wife and I are prior USAF. As a SAR member from a long and continuous line of patriots,
I swore my first Oath to defend my Constitution in 1968 and often subsequently there after. I left active duty after Desert Storm. Having spent 27 years of honoring and defending the Constitution through Vietnam and up until Desert Storm
When its time to pass on to the next world I can leave feeling positive that Oath Keepers will play a big part in restoring our United States Constitution which I and others fought so hard to keep in World War II.

I served in the U.S. Army for 13 years. There is a man here that is running for sheriff and asked for my support. I had talked to him on the phone and asked him of his position on the Constitution
