Today, politicians do not take their oath to the constitution seriously or literally. Even worse, they do not even understand the principles that formed the constitution’s existence and words.
I was thrilled when I found the Oath Keepers because it let me know that I wasn’t alone in the military with these points of view. My goal is to recruit more people whether they be Peace officers or Military personnel for our cause.
May 22, 1972 was the day I swore my oath entering the U. S. Marine Corps. After serving four years, my discharge from active duty mentioned nowhere that my oath had expired.
For those on Active Duty, serving America can be the most rewarding and uplifting time of your life, it most certainly was for me. Short or long career, you will look back and draw strength and hope from your experience’s for the rest of your days.
I joined the U.S Army in 1962 when I was 17. I loved my country and only wanted to serve and be a soldier like my Father and Uncles had done In WW11.
I took the oath in 1975-78. And still feel that it was the most important oath that I ever took. I was in the 543rd MP Co in Ft Knox KY. I am ready to defend my county and it’s constitution in any way I can.
I took an oath when joining the US Army many years ago, and I do not recall agreeing to an expiration date. I swore that oath and I meant it. I joined the US Army when it wasn’t cool to be a clean cut soldier, and remember very clearly how “alternative opinions” to the definition of this Republic
I am 74 year old Korean Veteran (non combat) and I have spent 30 years in local government. I have witnessed the slow and deliberate destruction of our State and Federal Constrictions by the so called progressive politicians, attorneys and judges.
After discovering Oath Keepers I feel a renewed sense of purpose and obligation to do what I can to open the eyes of Americans and deliver Oath Keepers’ message to as many people as possible.
I took my oath 7 November 1979, I served until 20 July 1990 active duty in the Air force. I am willing to defend the constitution of the United states of America
It means that there are people still in this world ready to stand up and say enough is enough. It means there were people awake and serious when they took their oath.
National level leaders of nation-wide organizations and delegates sent by coalitions of grassroots groups will meet face-to-face for the initial 2 day summit on December 15-16 to form a working alliance. Some of America’s brightest minds will tackle a broad range of critical issues, from the economy, health care, and constitutional rights to disaster preparedness.
The American people never have and will never settle for the criminal acts of our so called leaders. America needs us.
Oaths are a way of life for me I guess. I took my first one at age 11 when I joined the Boy Scouts. 27 years later I still hold myself bound by it. I then swore an oath when I enlisted in the Army. Still keeping that one too.
I am enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a Master at Arms. I currently work as base police and I did a tour in Afghanistan with Provincial Reconstruction Team out of Paktika.

I have been to many National Cemeteries. I have seen the rows and rows of white crosses…as far as the eye can see. Each cross representing a fallen brother who took an “Oath”. If anyone can view that and walk away without being moved in some way, he or she is emotionally and morally bankrupt.
