I am a proud Oath Keeper and committed to get the message out

constitutionI’m an OK who’s not earned his stripes but proud to be counted among those who have.

I was born in Canada, got my “green card” in Dec of ‘86 and am now the proud father of four AMERICAN citizens.

My goal right now is to reach out into my county, till I find a person who shares the OK passion and commitment to the Constitution and to their Oath; someone who can take up the banner, so to speak … someone to take the reigns and to spear-head getting the message out to as many of the thousands of military in this area ( we’re right up the road from Fort Drum ) and to as many of the multitude peace officers who are feeling very much caught in the middle right now, between the gov’t and “We The People”.

Watching Bush and his administration, in collaboration with the Dems pass the Patriot Act ( what a DEFILEMENT of that word, to associate it with their new “law(s)” !!! ) sickened me as I watched once again as constitutional rights were depreciated and trampled on.

It has concerned me greatly that as a Canadian, I know considerably more about the constitution than most of my American friends / family members / neighbors.

In March of this year, I watched a video of an active duty Marine who’s comments stirred me deeply, as they have many who’ve watched those videos and through contact with that Marine, I came to know about Oath Keepers and subsequently joined. It was my privilege to receive my “Associate Member” certificate !!

Two days ago, I read reports of those in the current administration and/or who have influence with them, who are digressively lumping OK’ers with terrorists and who are considering changing laws and/or interpretation of current laws to position themselves to persecute OK’ers … and figured that was my que to get more UP FRONT about ME being a proud OK’er and committed to getting the message out to as many as I can.

Have you read to fable about the Lion and the Mouse?  I consider myself to be like that little insignificant mouse.  Someday, I hope that I will have the privilege of making a difference in the defense of the Constitution and this Great Nation. Until then, I consider it a privilege and an honor to stand with those who HAVE earned their stripes.

In the face of any mal-intent of ANY resident of the USA, whether legal or otherwise, I am proud to stand and to be counted among the Oath Keepers and to consider them brothers, sisters and Friends.

May Jehovah God be our King and we, His servants and loyal subjects !!  Let us with haste and sincerity pray for His humbling hand in our lives.  May we with passion turn to Him for guidance.  May we seek wisdom and follow after it with all diligence, for without His blessing, our efforts may be in vain.

Very often it is those of us who are born here that do not recognize the signs of oppression until it is too late. The enemies of our country from within are very apparent to those who have come from other countries that have lost their freedom.

I am reminded of a gentleman I met several years ago who, as a refugee from Hungary, came to the US in the late 50’s. I remember he said something very profound….”Why do you who are born here not recognize the loss of your freedoms? I came here for the freedom, I live here for the freedom….but I see it slowly being taken away.” That was in 1997, during the Clinton years.
If he were alive today, what would he say?

I, for one, am proud to be associated with you, my friend.

You stand up for your beliefs. There’s not a lot of that sort of thing around anymore.

Thank you for becoming an American and an Oath Keeper.

    Welcome.
