The Freedom Summit is this weekend, December 5, 2009, starting at 8:45am to December 6, 2009, ending at 9pm – Sheraton Crescent Resort

Admission is FREE if you come at 2:45 Sunday to listen to Stewart Rhodes, founder of Oath Keepers, and other guest speakers thereafter. This is a great opportunity to meet and greet so pleas join us there.

If you want to have lunch with us on Sunday, cost is $20.00 per person, and you can hear all the speakers for Sunday afternoon for no additional cost. If you don’t want to have lunch, then come at 2:45 and you can get in for free and hear Stewart speak until 4pm and then Oath Keepers will have the room for an additional hour, till 5pm. We will then be going out for dinner and drinks at a location to be announced at that time.

also in attendance will be Dave Freeman, Oath Keepers Vice President and National Liaison to State Peace Officers, and Ray Epps, the Arizona Chapter President.

Sir,
I will not be able to attend the summit,I wish it were possible but do to circumstances beyond my control I will have to make the next one.

Being a Vietnam veteran I am very concerned for my country and the direction Obama is taking us, I swore to protect my country from enemies both domestic and foreign,I stand with the Oath Keepers and I am ready to serve my country that I love so much….

I attended the Freedom Summit ‘09 hosted by Freedom’s Phoenix for all 3 days and I am VERY glad I did!
It was my first time attending such an event and I was a little hesitant at first about spending the money and time, because both are in limited supply to me right now.
Looking back now, I feel a little foolish, because I got so much more out of going than I would have kept by not going.
I got to hear so many good speakers and meet so many movers and shakers in the Liberty Movement. I got more than my money’s worth. The contacts I made couldn’t have been made otherwise.

I got to hear U.S. Representative from Texas, Dr. Ron Paul speak and to shake his hand and thank him personally for all the good work he is doing for this country in Congress. That was a personal highlight for me.

What I really enjoyed the most was being able to meet and socialize with Oath Keeper’s Founder,Stuart Rhodes, Dave Freeman, Oath Keepers Vice President and National Liaison to State Peace Officers, and Ray Epps, the Arizona Chapter President, after hearing them give really great speeches.
These men are not only doing great work for this organization but they are also just plain ol’ good guys to hang out with. I want to thank them very much for giving me some of their time and inspiration. It was also very nice to enjoy the conversation of other Oath Keeper’s at the Summit like Kaye Bullock from Utah and Drew, Oath Keeper’s webmaster, who worked his butt off at the Summit. (If Stuart is reading this, Drew deserves a raise!

Meeting and visiting with some of the other speakers at the summit was also very enlightening and enjoyable.

Site Dedication

This site is dedicated to the memory of John William Adams (1925-2006), Marine and Oath Keeper extraordinaire.

John Adams, at the age of 16, lied about his age to join the Marines so he could fight against Imperial Japan in the Pacific. His enlistment date was December 10, 1941, just three days after the attack on Pearl Harbor (see below). As a Marine rifleman, he fought the Japanese from island to island, across the pacific, including at Iwo Jima. We may have good men, but we never had better.

Until his death in 2006, he was a dedicated patriot who still took his oath to defend the Republic deadly serious. May God grant you the courage to do likewise.

Founder Stewart Rhodes

He is a former firearms instructor and former member of Rep. Ron Paul’s DC staff.

Stewart previously wrote the monthly Enemy at the Gates column for S.W.A.T. Magazine

Stewart graduated from Yale Law School in 2004, where his paper “Solving the Puzzle of Enemy Combatant Status” won Yale’s Miller prize for best paper on the Bill of Rights. He assisted teaching U.S. military history at Yale, was a Yale Research Scholar, and is writing a book on the dangers of applying the laws of war to the American people.
