Disabled Veteran and the Oath I Swore

I come from a long line of warriors with a heritage of fighting for the United States of America going back to the Revolutionary War. Many members of my family have served in the Military forces of this country. I myself served in the U.S. Army with great pride and honor. I was retired out of the Army after being grievously injured in the line of duty while serving overseas. I still consider myself to be on duty. I still feel from the bottom of my soul and heart to still, be a defender of the Constitution. I have always felt that I am still and will always till my death be held to the oath I raised my hand to and swore to defend the Constitution on the day I volunteered to join the U.S. Army in 1969. I am still serving. If my country needs me I will step forward and lay down my life it is called for. I have but one life to give to my country and would do so proudly and with honor if need be. I am proud to be an American. I am proud of my heritage. One of my heroes is Thomas Jefferson among other great Americans whom have helped make this great country what it is.

thomas-jefferson“Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves are its only safe depositories”. Thomas Jefferson “Every citizen should be a soldier. This was the case with the Greeks and Romans, and every free state”. Thomas Jefferson  “The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people; it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government – lest it come to dominate our lives and interest”. Patrick Henry

I stand now and reaffirm that oath to defend the Constitution by becoming a member of the “Oath Keepers” Association. So help me God.

Spec 4 Glenn Brymer USA (Ret.)
