I will continue to uphold the Oath that I took as a young woman of 22
“I remember taking the Oath as a 22-year-old woman. It was the most serious and profound thing that I had undertaken at that time in my brief life. I remember being both afraid and determined to uphold that Oath regardless of the price. My father had initially objected to me joining the Army National Guard and was very concerned that I truly understood what military service meant and could entail. The decision turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. True service to one’s country builds a sense of self-respect, honor and dedication that many do not understand. You are a part of the history of this great nation and stand with a long line of brothers and sisters that have fought to keep our precious liberties alive.
Since leaving the military, I continued to be an active citizen. I’ve voted in every election and called my representatives when I feel the need to on an issue. When called to serve on jury duty, I did so without hesitation. I served on a trial that lasted nearly four months. Whatever my country has asked me to do, as both soldier and civilian, I have done without question or reservation. But this has not been enough. Those that we have entrusted to represent us and take the same Oath that we do, seem hell bent on destroying the very Constitution they’ve sworn to uphold.
As an American citizen I find this appalling. As a veteran, an oath taker, I find this treasonous. And as a woman, I find this terrifying. Our current batch of beltway buffoons feel that all governing systems are morally equivalent – that socialism, communism, Sharia law and a two-bit dictator are on the same moral plane. They couldn’t be more wrong. I am what I am today and have the opportunities that I have solely by an accident of birth. I was born an American woman with liberties and rights that are the envy of the world. I will not stand idly by and watch Washington murder the very freedoms that I enjoy.
This is why I joined the Oath Keepers. I will continue to uphold the Oath that I took as a young woman of 22, so that future generations of Americans can have the opportunities and liberties that I have enjoyed. I refuse to do nothing and let trans-nationalist ideas overtake our Constitution. I will not allow our government to institute international law, Sharia law or any other nonsense in the name of tolerance. I will not support a civilian force equal in strength and funding to our military. I will only uphold and support the Constitution and the lawful police and first responders and military branches of our country. To do anything less would make a mockery of the Oath I took so seriously.”

Samantha,
Thank you for your service now and then. I agree with you so much that woman have the best opportunities in America solely because we were blessed enough to be born here. We have so many liberties, rights, and opportunities to be the best person we can be. “Not on our Watch” says it all.

Wow! What eloquence! We need more women like you in leadership positions, in the military, and especially in Congress; women who are patriots, who are articulate and dedicated. You sound like the kind of woman who, unlike Hillary or Sarah, is real presidential material! Oath Keepers is lucky to have you!
