The Oath I took is still and will always be a part of who and what I am

AMVETSAfter my second honorable discharge and raising three beautiful children I joined the American Legion, AMVETS,VFW, 40&8, Patriot Guard, started American Legion Riders in my county( Kosciusko, Indiana)and am very active in the above as past commander and still ALR Director and Post Adjutant but when I found the Oath Keepers on the internet my heart jumped as I realized that I had found what I was looking for in the other groups but they have a different mission officially. The Oath I took is still and will always be a part of who and what I am. I thank God that there are others, you all, who feel the same way and I just hope and pray that we are not too late to save this great republic we call ‘home of the brave’!Please pray with me at night that each morning when we awaken our country will still be intact and that we will have the wisdom and insight to catch it before it falls. Thank you all for being here with me!

John

Amen Brother. I was like you. 14 years in the U.S. Coast Guard. I joined my American Legion Post and served as my Post Adjutant. I am A duel member as both American Legion and Sons of the Americal Legion. I am still a proud member of both today. Now I found the OK. I am proud to serve and stand with you all. God Bless The Republic!!!!
