I swear my oath to an ideal, an ideal written on paper during the infancy of this great Nation

constitutionI, Steve Iman reaffirm my oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic…. We, as Oath Takers will not stand idly by and let this happen ! Thirty two years ago I quietly without pomp and circumstance raised my right hand along with twenty or so other enlistees in Cleveland, Ohio and took the oath of service required and declared my promise to defend the Constitution. As a young lean and mean hard-charger I really didn’t grasp the significance of the Oath I took until I experienced and witnessed the corruption and evil exhibited by nations and people who swear their allegiance to a man or political affiliation and as a result are controlled and manipulated for the benefit of that man or group. Thank God our Nation is governed by the rule of law and the Constitution is the law of the land.

Some member of my family has taken the oath every generation since it’s inception and as with most families there has been many. My father, William E Iman Jr., USMC who passed away last November many times talked of how proud he was of his service and always reminded me and my sons of the importance of the oath we all have taken. I watched my father take his oath as his VFW Post Commander and I watched my oldest son take his oath as an Atlanta Police Officer and I watched my youngest take his when he enlisted in the USN Reserve. All of these have been some of the proudest moments of my life.

I swear my oath to an ideal, an ideal written on paper during the infancy of this great Nation and no man or subversive undertow will ever change that ideal of Freedom and Liberty. It is my God given legacy and my Family and I will stand in proud support of this United States of America and in defense of the Constitution that has molded and strengthened her. To all those who think you can tread on my liberty and defile this Republic, I reverberate: “Not On Our Watch”!!!

God Bless America !

Sincerely,

Steve Iman

Check out this group of clergy who say they will defend our rights and liberty at all costs. I have signed my name to the Declaration and believe we should all do so. The more people who act together on this, the better chance we have of succeeding in getting the attention of our government leaders to possibly take us seriously.

The Declaration addresses the sanctity of life, traditional marriage, and religious liberty.

Thanks Fellow Oath Keepers! “Stay in it!”
