Vietnam Vet: “I was serious about that oath then, and I am serious about it now”

USMC

I am 60 years of age. I enlisted in the USMC in June 1967, I was in Vietnam by December 1967. I served a number of tours in Nam. When I enlisted, I took the oath to defend my country from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. It appeared back then that all of our enemies were foreign, I was wrong. We had domestic enemies then, as now, and it appears they are now in control of our government. I took my oath to defend the Constitution of the United States of America, I was serious about that oath then, and I am serious about it now. I will do all that is in my power to combat the enemies of this country, where ever they may be, including Washington, D.C. Semper Fi!!!
