I now realize the oath I took many years ago is more important now than ever

rangerI took the oath in 1968 in front of a podium at the AFEES office in Newark, NJ. This was a time when being gung ho was not cool. My father was a marine in Korea. My grandfather served in the invasion of Europe. They taught me how important serving our country was. I was so proud to be standing there. I remember it like it was yesterday.

I served in Vietnam trying to help those that were in need.

A friend gave me this link. I came and read. I now realize the oath I took many years ago is more important now than ever. I swear to stand by it till my dying day.
