I first took the oath when I enlisted, and I still believe in it today

I first took the oath when I enlisted in the USAF in 1958, and lived it until I retired in 1979. I still believe in it, and I’ll die believing in it. I believe in our Constitution; ALL of it, including the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. I still get misty-eyed at the playing of our National Anthem, and at the raising and lowering of our flag, and I’m darn proud of that fact!
Please donate and support Oath Keepers mission, every little bit helps!

My heart swells with pride when our veterans are honered, the American flag is displayed or the anthem is played in public. Unfortunately, we are seeing less and less of these patriotic tributes. Americans will rebel against this loss of respect for their military heroes and our beloved country. God Bless You All! We’ll take our country Back!

What about “I will obey the orders of the President of the United States”? That’s not part of this organization? You say you support ALL of the constitution and clearly the President of the United States role as the Commander in Chief…Article II, Section 2.

Sure, Mike, Oath Keepers advocates obeying the orders of the President, IF they do not violate the Constitution! If you’ve been paying attention the last few years, you know that presidents have pretty much given up on following the Constitution. Both presidents Bush and Obama, and really, Clinton before them, have seemed to take a very, shall we say, “flexible” view of Constitutional provisions. That has to stop. People have to honor their oaths to uphold the Constitution, otherwise, this country – this republic- is finished! Oath Keepers are drawing a line in the sand. They’re saying, “We’re not going to be a part of this any more.” They’re saying, “We’re going to honor our oaths, because we are honorable people, and we expect our leaders to honor their oaths, as well. If they don’t, and they give us illegal and un-Constitutional orders, we will not obey them!”
