I’m eager to join Oath Keepers in our mission to protect the Constitution
Like most veterans, my life doesn’t revolve around my military service. I served in the Regular U.S. Army (mos 19K), beginning my enlistment in 1983 and afterward went through OCS and finished my time in service in the 1990s as a commissioned officer Army National Guard (branched Armor).
I come from a long line of soldiers, sailors, and warriors who helped to shape this Nation. I enlisted and served because I believed that I owed a debt to this Nation which has provided me with the freedom to succeed or fail based upon my own effort and the grace of God. So, I have taken an oath to support and defend the Constitution on two separate occasions and I meant it both times, including the part about “so help me God”.
I love my country and believe that we are in a very dire situation due to the misjudgment of people who want something for nothing and who have been manipulated by evil people (both Republican and Democrat). I believe that we are at great risk of a total collapse of our Constitutionally guaranteed ways of life due to this rise of tyranny. I fear for the future of my children.
I HATE politics and believe that with few exceptions, politicians today are self-serving liars akin to the very worst examples of used car salesmen and television evangelists. I am largely conservative – probably more libertarian – and have been a lifelong Republican except for the past few months when I was so irked by the nomination of John McCain – a Rhino – that I registered as an independent voter.
I’ve since decided that I still believe in the two party system but that both Republicans and Democrats need to clean house and get rid of corrupt career politicians who do not support the Constitution. Because of this, I recently re-registered as a Republican and have begun taking my local, state, and national representative to task. I am also joining with other like-minded, Constitution loving members of my community to organize locally.
It’s time to stop bitchin’ and start doing something about our situation. I’m eager to join Oath Keepers in our mission to protect the Constitution.

Hey Paul,
Good to have you aboard.
I wanted to thank you for your service to our Country and countrymen.
Also wanted to thank you for taking your Oath so seriously. That “…so help me God” part really DOES kinda nail it down, eh?
Welcome to Oath Keepers !
