You have a special perspective. Make sure you share it with others, especially the well-meaning, but lazy or unaware Americans who are, perhaps a little too comfortable behind their protectors. I did 30 years. You will have to explain it to the younger troopers on your watch, too (I called them the "romper-room patrol"). They just don't teach them real history anymore. Make sure you check out your local/state group, too. Welcome, brother. You have a special perspective.
