I have been proud to become a US Citizen and I have served my country
I came to these shores in October of 1959 as an immigrant with my parents escaping the tyranny of Fidel Castro. When my adopted nation called for its people to fight in Vietnam I was one of the first to volunteer. When I stood before the flag at that recruiting station and pledge my life to my adopted nation to defend her from enemies from within and without I meant every word I pledged because I told my parents that I would never again run from tyrants and dictators.
I have been proud to become a US Citizen and I have served my country both in the Armed forces and as a Police officer.
I will be damned to hell if I am going to let this my country fall into a communist or socialist nation. NEVER as long as I breath will I permit that to happen.
Yes I feel that strong about it and mark my words what I say is no idle threat. This nation took me in and clothed me, fed me and educated me. When I was down and out she was there for me. I owe a great debt to her and at her hour of need I will stand by her so help me God.

Welcome, brother. You have a special perspective. Make sure you share it with others, especially the well-meaning, but lazy or unaware Americans who are, perhaps a little too comfortable behind their protectors.
I did 30 years. You will have to explain it to the younger troopers on your watch, too (I called them the “romper-room patrol”). They just don’t teach them real history anymore. Make sure you check out your local/state group, too.
God Bless you for your service to our country and for dedicating yourself to continuing to serve.
Welcome to Oath Keepers!
“It is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren, till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth – to know the worst and to provide for it.” – Patrick Henry
I am proud to stand alongside you.
You are a true American. Thank you for your service to our Nation.
Thank you for becoming a U.S. Citizen.
It is an honor to serve with you.
