Yup! No doubt about it! That Oath Keepers organization is nothing but a bunch of domestic terrorists! Why, that lady is lucky they didn't kill her! Who knows what those right-wing fanatics won't do!

Looks as if I joined the right organization. As a single mom I could easily put myself in your shoes and it is so encouraging to know that there are still good people in this world that will lend a helping hand to a fellow patriot. So glad your journey took you home safely. The officer you encountered is unfortunate as I know from personal experience with the police that the majority are very helpful and concerned with the public's safety.

Dawn, Thank you for your story. Yes, you are exactly correct in saying that not all police officers are like the one that I experienced. I have had positive experiences with police officers in the past. I am not trying to peg hole all police officers. But, my experience was a good example of why the Oathkeepers message is so important. I am glad you had a positive experience when you were in need. In reading your story however, I wish he would not have stated "don't tell my sergeant, or maybe have asked, "can I take you to a hotel and pay for your room for the night?" Anyway, I am glad that you felt safe and made it through the experience with the feeling of being cared for. Thank you too for being an Oathkeeper! Glad to have another sister on board!

Wow, that is a wonderful testimonial! Please remember though that not all police officers are like the one you encountered. I had a REALLY nice one who came and talked to me when I was stranded in a Wal-Mart parking lot for the evening. Sitting there in my car, with no money for a hotel, and crying my eyes out because of something that had happened to my (now ex) boyfriend. He came up, asked me if I was OK, of course he could tell I was upset, told me that it was not safe to be in the parking lot all by myself, and when I told him that I had nowhere else to go, the only thing he said was "well, if a Captain or someone else comes along, don't mention that I saw you here and didn't run you off, but I'll drive by on my watch and check on you thru the night."
I thought that was the nicest thing anyone could have said or done at the time. Welcome to Oath Keepers and proud to stand with you to defend our Constitution!
